JOSH MAKAZO
Josh Makazo, a 22-year-old Singaporean singer-songwriter and producer, has made a mark in contemporary dark R&B with his introspective lyrics and moody yet accessible sound. His 2023 debut album GRADIENT garnered over 20 million streams, followed by a deluxe edition and the EP BEFORE I SEE, setting the stage for his highly anticipated sophomore album, ULTRAVIOLET. With multiple viral TikTok moments and millions of streams, Makazo has solidified his status as a rising star. In 2023, he ranked as TikTok Singapore’s #2 Most-Viewed Artist and was named a Spotify RADAR Artist for 2024, signaling his growing global presence.
RANGGA JONES
Rangga Jones, an Indonesian-born artist making waves in Singapore’s music scene, has built a strong presence in the Pop and R&B genres with his self-produced tracks. His career took off through the Noise Music Mentorship Programme in 2020, leading to performances at major venues like the Esplanade Concert Hall and The Sands Theatre. Recognized as a Spotify RADAR artist in 2021, he found success with his debut EP A Little Bit Patient, which has surpassed 43 million streams, and his hit single Call Me, which garnered over 30 million streams. In 2024, his viral track Infatuated resonated strongly in Thailand, inspiring over 92,000 TikTok posts and amassing more than 9 million YouTube views for its music video.
